The red-hot jazz ensemble 32 Bars is touching down at Bennetts Lane in Brunswick for an unmissable Saturday night show on October 31st.
32 Bars is making waves with their ambitious project to film 32 brand-new jazz vocal showtunes across Victoria's most iconic music venues—each song composed and arranged for full jazz ensemble by guitarist Mark Morand.
Nik Fotakis from Australian Jazz says "Mark Morand is building a songbook that caters to the body and soul: uplifting, comforting, and toe-tapping tunes that can melt the coldest, most cynical hearts." Kate Ceberano calls it "ballsy, rambunctious, full of heart, body and soul”.
“I knew I had songs inside me. To bring them to life, I needed to write in the style of the great 20th-century composers,” Mark shared with Jimmy Hornet Magazine.
