About
Mark
Mark Morand - Melbourne-based jazz guitarist, composer, producer and band leader. His epic flagship production 32 Bars speaks to his purposeful drive to create innovative, engaging and highly entertaining original music with broad appeal. His many other productions demonstrate a determination to exceed expectations and give music lovers what they love - uncompromising great music.
Our Projects
From solo guitar through to the 9-piece 32 Bars show band, Mark brings the right music to any venue or event, including four composer tribute shows; jazz duo, trio & quartet; collaborative events with vocalists Sarah Maclaine, Jennifer Salisbury, Anthea Palmer - and more.
Our Vocalists
Our vocalists are key to the success of our many productions.
Jennifer Salisbury is a composer and singer without comparison in Australia. Her voice "sparkles like antique diamonds, clear and true". Jennifer appears in almost all of our shows, including 32 Bars - as our very first vocalist; our legendary duo and quartet; our pioneering composer dedication, Anything Goes; the incredible Jennifer Salisbury sings Audioslave; paired red-head with the amazing Sarah Maclaine in Red Hot; an integral part of The Great Composers; and the powerhouse behind our emerging productions Jennifer Salisbury sings Doris Day and Jennifer Salisbury sings Post Modern Jukebox.
Susy Hull is foundational to our projects. She features strongly in 32 Bars, as both a vocalist and member of its driving horn section, plus her signature flute. She brings her distinctive vocal style to life in "Summertime - Susy Hull sings Gershwin" - delivering Gershwin's greatest hits while seamlessly slipping between saxophone, flute, piano and washboard. She is a feature musician and guest vocalist in "Red Hot". And of course, Susy is integral to The Great Composers.
Yvette Hearn, also foundational to our projects, brings her sensational voice to 32 Bars, is the star of "Over the Rainbow - Yvette Hearn sings Harold Arlen" and is a key feature of The Great Composers.
We are thrilled to welcome the inimitable Sarah Maclaine to our family of artists, as the feature performer in our new show, Red Hot. Sarah is an extraordinary vocalist and entertainer cultivating a stellar career. Sarah brings the full energy of her electric live performances to Red Hot, singing her personal selections from the greatest songs of the last 100 years
With either his trumpet or flugel horn always in hand, Vincent Bradley has emerged as our vocalist secret weapon, with guest performances in Anything Goes, The Great Composers, our Doris Day and PMJ dedications, and most recently with a starring role in Song 23 and future songs from our flagship project, 32 Bars.
In a brand new show for 2026 we are delighted to bring forth The Garland Minnelli Effect, a unique collaboration with vocalist and publisher Anthea Palmer and a star-studded cast of musicians delivering the very best songs from the extraordinary Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli.
